Therapy
The Big Picture
Therapy with me is a space to slow down, breathe, and finally tell the truthāto yourself, first and foremost. You donāt have to perform or impress here. You just have to be human (which, frankly, is hard enough). Together, weāll get curious about whatās weighing you down, whatās lighting you up, and what needs to shift so you can move through your life with more clarity, intention, and self-respect.

If your brain regularly rotates between ānothing mattersā and āeverything is on fire,ā welcomeāyouāre not alone. Depression can make life feel muted; anxiety can make it feel too loud. In therapy, weāll learn how to meet both with honesty, compassion, and actual tools that help you feel less at war with your own mind. You donāt have to white-knuckle your way through this.

Sometimes life gets weird. You wake up one day and wonder who you are, why youāre here, or what any of this is supposed to mean. (Congratsāyouāre officially human.) I work well with clients who are wrestling with purpose, identity, and the big-picture questions that donāt fit neatly into self-help checklists. Weāll navigate the unknown together without rushing to easy answers.

Leaving a faith traditionāor being hurt by oneācan feel like pulling a thread and watching your entire sense of self unravel. Religious trauma therapy gives you room to examine what you were taught, honor what you lost, and rebuild with grace and compassion in mind, instead of harsh judgment and fear. You get to keep what resonates, reject what harmed you, and create a life that feels grounded in beauty and joy, instead of anxiety and despair.

Breakups, moves, new careers, identity shifts⦠all of it can knock the wind out of you. Isnāt the core tragedy of the human condition that change is the only constant and itās the thing we hate the most? Even āgood changesā can feel like emotional whiplash. Together, weāll make sense of whatās ending, whatās beginning, and how to navigate the in-between without losing yourself. Your next chapter doesnāt have to feel like a free fall.

If your default setting is āsure, no problem!ā even when youāre actively falling apart, youāre in good company. People pleasing isnāt a flawāitās an old survival strategy thatās overstayed its welcome. This is an addition problem, not subtraction. Weāre not gonna turn you into a jerk, weāre just gonna help you add a few new tools to your utility belt. Therapy will help you set boundaries that donāt make you feel like a villain, tell the truth about your needs, and stop auditioning for everyone elseās approval.Item description

Growing up in a family where emotional needs were ignored, minimized, or mocked leaves a mark. You learn to stay small, stay quiet, or stay hyper-capable. Maybe you even wind up being the parent to your parents. In therapy, we untangle those inherited patterns and teach you how to parent yourself in ways you never receivedāso you can build relationships based on choice, not obligation or fear.

Whether youāre a writer, musician, filmmaker, painter, or just a person with a creative pulse, stuckness can feel like losing a limb. Your ideas evaporate, your motivation tanks, and suddenly youāre cleaning the grout instead of making anything. Weāll explore the emotional roots of your block, reconnect you to what inspires you, and carve out space for you to create without perfection strangling the process.
